DEATHCARE
As an end-of-life doula and certified Sacred Deathcare Guide, I work with people who are navigating death or grief in any form and who are looking for something a little different from the other supports they might also be receiving. Offering a range of services alongside—not in place of—medical or psychotherapeutic diagnosis and treatment, I companion others through both the material and the more-than-material dimensions of the deathspace, drawing on many years of direct experience and education around dying and bereavement, of writing about and through my own traumatic grief, and of living in ongoing relationship with the unseen or not-usually-seen realms. How can we make this as bearable and as beautiful as possible, I’ll gently guide us through asking, while not denying the absolutely obliterating realities and frequent injustices of loss?
